Mitigation of water restriction effects on soybean with biofertilizer: metabolic and stomatal conductance changes

The demand for soybean has increased in the international market, and water restriction is an important factor reducing its yield. Therefore, development of technologies aimed to damage caused by stress becomes strategic. Thus, objective was demonstrate role amino acid L-glutamic mitigating plants. A study conducted a greenhouse using plants vegetative stage subjected foliar applications biofertilizer obtained from bacterial fermentation, containing 25% acid, sprayed three days before imposition when substrate moisture reached 50% retention capacity (WRC). Stomatal resistance determined throughout collections plant material were carried out: at beginning restriction, one four after rehydration biochemical enzymatic analyses. Plants that supplied with showed lower stomatal resistance, while received application WRC increases sugar accumulation, free acids proline content, nitrate reductase peroxidase enzymes activity, consequently, lipids peroxidation, effects oxidative stress.
